The Ultimate Superphone: Optimus One Xperia Galaxy Phone

Bob Freking, one of the top designers on this website has come up with a wonderful concept, that combines the best thing about all the flagships with Android right now. The name also fits this superphone: Optimus One Xperia Galaxy Phone. Of course, HTC teaming up with HTC and Sony is impossible… or is it?

HTC contributes the BoomSound technology, aluminum edges, Ultrapixel technology and the 5 inch 1080p Super LCD 3 display, so quite a lot. Then comes Samsung with all the software features, applied on top of Android 4.2 and a 13 megapixel camera merged with Ultrapixel. The Home button is also done by Samsung, as well as the super fast Exynos 5 Octa processor.
LG contributed the crystal reflection back and the 3,140 mAh battery, while Sony only made the IP57 certified case, that’s waterproof and dustproof. To me, this model is all LG and a bit of HTC, but it’s certainly a piece of wonder.

LG Premier Windows Phone Device Makes Some Interesting Design Statements

For some reason LG has been staying away from the Windows Phone playing field, dominated by Nokia and tested by HTC and Samsung every once in a while. Their first WP devices were decent and they even had a fashion phone at some point… Well, here comes the LG Premier, a Windows Phone 8 concept phone created by Mohammad Mahdi Azimi.
LG Premier Windows Phone Device Makes Some Interesting Design
Statements
He has given us no specs, so there’s plenty of room for speculation. A quick analysis shows us that there’s no camera flash and that the device is massive, so I’m thinking about a sort of Samsung Galaxy Grand rival here, maybe a 5 inch affordable model. Also, it may be intended for the ladies, considering the exotic color choice at the back. Notice the dotted pattern, that reminds me of the LG Optimus G and Nexus 4.
I can’t really tell if the back is all glass or… leather, since that’s what the texture reminds me of. While I do like the shape of the LG Premier concept phone, I’m not a big fan of the very small Windows Phone buttons and consider the call/end call buttons useless nowadays. And now some imaginary specs: 5 inch 480 x 800 pixel S LCD display, dual core Snapdragon processor, 1 GB of RAM, 5 megapixel camera, 8 GB of storage. How about it?

Next Micromax Flagship Phone Gets Teased; You Decide Its Name and Specs!

Suman Chatterjee sent us a fresh concept for a new Micromax flagship phone, that you can see pictured below. Micromax has already had an impressive success on the Indian market with the Canvas HD and Canvas 2 devices, so it’s time for a big flagship now. Today we only get a teaser of that phone:
Next Micromax Flagship Phone Gets Teased; You Decide Its Name and
Specs!
Suman Chatterjee will show us in the following days the finalized design and he asked us (and you) to name the device and maybe think of a few specifications for it. Micromax fans are asked to share their opinions. And now here are my ideas for this phone! First, make it a HD handset, or even a 768p model like the modern Windows Phone 8 devices.
Then give it Android Jelly Bean at least and an 8 megapixel camera at the back, at least as good as the one of the Galaxy S II, for example, even if it’s a 2011 phone. I can see that capacitive buttons are present, as shown by the teaser. Finally, I want 1 or 2 GB of RAM and either the new generation dual core Intel CPU on this model or the quad core Snapdragon S4 Pro. The design is elongated and I can spot some metal in there, if I’m not mistaking. I suggest the name Micromax Fusion. What are your ideas for this model?

Xperia PS Vita Concept Features Qualcomm Octa Core Processor, 3 GB of RAM, Android Key Lime Pie

People are still wondering how Sony managed to fumble up a project as good as the Xperia Play. Well, we’ve been waiting for a successor for ages and every once in a while we get a device like this one here, the Xperia PS Vita, imagined by Junior Riega. The specs are crazy, but they’re 2014 crazy, if I can say so.
Xperia PS Vita Concept Features Qualcomm Octa Core Processor, 3 GB
of RAM, Android Key Lime Pie
As you can see, the design is very similar to the previous unit’s look, only this time we get the LG UI on it, for some reason. The design is pretty rudimentary, but the specs are the salt and pepper of this concept. The device comes with 64 GB of internal memory, microSD up to 128 GB, 4 GB of DDR3 RAM and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1000 3.0 GHz Octa core processor. The GPU is an Adreno 500 and the model runs the new Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie, that will be unveiled in May.
The display is a Super AMOLED Full HD one with a 4.5 inch diagonal and 3D abilities, plus a 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution. The screen is polarized antiglare and is scratch resistant and unbreakable. The device also uses Sony Mobile Bravia Engine 2, HDMI and USB, a Walkman key and a camera button. There’s even a built in projector with 50 lumens capacity. Charging is done via wireless and there are two powerful speakers on board.
Sony Xperia PS Vita weighs 293 grams and measures 18 mm in thickness. The camera at the back is a 21 megapixel unit with Ultra Pixel technology and 24x zoom. It does 4k video capture at 120 fps and upfront we’ve got a 5.1 MP shooter. Digital TV and radio are included and this console will support PlayStation 1, 2 and 3 games, apparently.
