Samsung Galaxy Beam II is the Prettiest Projector Phone

The Samsung Galaxy Beam was an interesting device last year, but it’s time for a follow-up, so Deepak Ahuja created the Samsung Galaxy Beam II. The device runs Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean and packs an 8 megapixel camera at the back and a front 2 megapixel camera.

Upfront we’ve got a 5 inch display with Super AMOLED HD+ technology and specs include 16/32GB of storage, 2 GB of RAM and a 9.7 mm thick chassis. The handset incorporates a 1.2 GHz quad core processor and we’ve also got a built in nHD projector. Samsung Galaxy Beam II is quite sleek, considering it incorporates an impressive projector.
The screen looks pretty hot, with its edge to edge format and the back side look elegant and made from a comfy plastic material. The phone has metallic edges, a discrete Home button and rounded corners, sticking to the Galaxy S design trend. Would this model tempt you if it were priced at $300?

Nexus 5, the Deepak Ahuja Version, With Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie

Deepak Ahuja has sent us an impressive number of concept phones lately and here’s one more, this time the very talked about Nexus 5. We’re dealing with a handset that runs Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie and adopts a 16 megapixel camera at the back and a 2.2 MP cam upfront.

Inside there’s a 2.3 GHz quad core processor and upfront there’s a 5.2 inch Super AMOLED display with a Full HD resolution. The device comes with 16/32/64 GB of storage and 3 GB of RAM. For some reason there’s a Motorola vibe about this phone, or maybe a tweaked LG? Anyway, this feels like a behemoth of a phone, very massive and menacing.
At the corners the Nexus 5 is slightly curved and if my eyes aren’t seeing strange things, it appears that the middle part of the handset is slightly less wider, providing better grip. I like the Android buttons at the bottom, that are metallic looking. What do you think of this Nexus 5 concept?
