Samsung Galaxy Watch is a Device I’d Actually See Happening

There’s no doubt that Samsung is making TOO MANY devices for its own good. They make everything, from fridges to air conditioning systems, midrange phones, tablets, PCs, components, CPUs and smartphones. How about a watch? Mohammad Mahdi Azimi has an idea about that.
Samsung Galaxy Watch is a Device Id Actually See Happening
What you see here is the Samsung Galaxy Watch concept, a beautiful design that seems to keep some industrial design elements from the Galaxy S4. The watch isn’t exactly rounded, since it has a lot of straight edges, but it does feel curved at the top and bottom. The screen is very crisp, so I imagine it’s a HD display with the diagonal around 3.5 inches, let’s say.
The designer didn’t send us any specs, so we’re speculating on Samsung’s watch. This gadget should also come with 1 GB of RAM, a dual core Exynos CPU should be enough, plus the likes of S Health, S Translate and some other specific Samsung apps. There’s no trace of camera here and I imagine this serves as more of a companion to phones than standalone Samsung watch.

iPhone 6 Concept Tailor Made for iOS 7 by ADR Studio

This is the very first iPhone concept that involves the real iOS 7, after a bunch of speculations and renders. We’re dealing here with an iPhone 6 created byADR Studio, who are responsible for a few other fantastic concepts of Apple devices.

As you can see instead of the Home button we now have the Apple logo and the screen of the handset is an edge to edge display. Volume buttons are also more minimalistic and frankly I don’t quite like them. This iPhone 6 involves an edge to edge aluminum shell, a brand new 4.3 inch Retina 2 display and obviously iOS 7 with all its perks and… lacks.

It appears that at the bottom of the phone, in the Apple logo area you will get a sort of touchpad, with gestures and “total control”, according to ADR Studio. The camera is now an 18 megapixel unit with a double power LED flash and noise reduction, plus stabilizer. The cute Apple logo at the bottom actually integrates a very discrete camera for fingerprint authentication.
And finally, we get the Apple A7 processor, a quad core CPU that will make the iPhone 6 powerful and revolutionary. Big thumbs up!

Android 5.0 Design Concept by Jinesh Shah Part 2: Multitasking and Dialer

If you liked the Android 5.0 interface concept that Jinesh Shah created, we have more shots for you. He rendered his vision of the way that the dialer and multitasking may look on Key Lime Pie.

Multitasking is fist, with the option to peak at the currently open app, but also the option to swipe it away. There’s a card style app layout and the whole thing with the peaking reminds me of BlackBerry 10 OS. Then comes the Android 5.0 People and Dialer, with a card style dialer and the option to use the voice dial and search to call people directly.

The contacts are now card-based and the most frequently used contact method is shown below the name of each entry. There’s also a dynamic group view and you can organize contacts by group in cards. Finally, there’s the photo gallery from Key Lime Pie, that’s truly changed this time. We can swipe to the camera and check out the highlights for each album and click to access the full album. Even the pics are organized in the same card style that Jinesh Shah seems to like so much.
What do you think?
